Bacon Wrapped Chicken

8 pieces of skinless chicken
4 cloves garlic- minced
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp.  pepper
1/4c. olive oil
1/4 c. lemon juice

8 or more slices of bacon.
Mix garlic, chili powder, basil. thyme, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice together in a glass bowl large enough to hold the chicken. Add chicken and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 2 hours and up to overnight.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wrap slice of bacon around each piece of chicken and put a bay leaf in. Arrange chicken on rack.
Cook for 45 minutes or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through. Throw away bay leaf before eating.

Serves eight people.
